Meet Sam!

Samantha (Sam) is a third year Industrial Design student at Carleton University with a Minor in Business, passionate about creating thoughtful, user-centered solutions. Her expertise lies in prototyping and model making, and she prides herself on being a well-rounded designer with a strong ability to move fluidly between concept development, evaluation, and execution.

Sam is a strong problem solver who excels at quickly assessing options and generating new directions when challenges arise. This adaptability is reinforced through her role as Co-President of the Carleton Industrial Design Student Association (CIDSA), where she leads with organization, explores multiple solution paths, and helps guide teams toward effective outcomes. She works to ensure students have the support they need while fostering a collaborative design community.

Outside of the studio, Sam enjoys staying active through soccer, snowboarding, going to the gym, and hiking.
